Well not quite yet, but the Wall Street Journal is reporting that scientists from the University of Texas have managed to create offspring using only the genetic information from 2 mice dads. While there are certain kinks, including using a genetically modified female and a few tumor producing genes, the authors recognize that if these kinks can be overcome “then some day two men could produce their own genetic sons and daughters.” Of course they would still need to use a gestational carrier unless scientists start transplanting uteruses in males.
